You are invited to the next WPCLN Sustainable Farming discussion group at Bindarree Station at Willow Grove on Tues 25th November
Alan & Karen run up to 550 wagyu cross cattle on their 360ha property at Willow Grove. They run Wagyu bulls over the Angus cows to produce f1 crosses, and dependant on the season will grow them out to 800+kg aiming to supply a good marbled, grass fed animal for Greenham’s wagyu program. They also sell heifers to China, or sell into feedlot as opportunites arise.
Alan & Karen will show us some of the cattle, pastures and livestock yards.
There is lots to see & discuss. As this is a large property we will car pool and stop at various points of interest.
As this will be the final gathering for this year please stay & chat in the shed over lunch (BYO) .
Bring a chair, your lunch, coat & boots, and please ensure your boots are clean as we will use a footbath on arrival. A very interesting morning is assured!
